When Bentley arrived at Animal Friends Humane Society, he weighed just 31 pounds. A dog his size should weigh 60–80 pounds.
He was so weak he couldn't hold his head up. He couldn't stand. He couldn't walk.
A Good Samaritan found him lying in the grass, barely hanging on, and rushed him to safety. Despite every effort, no owner has been found, leaving us with heartbreaking questions about how a dog could end up in such devastating condition.
