Operations Director
Animal Friends Humane Society is seeking an experienced, hands-on Operations Director to lead the day-to-day operations of our shelter and help ensure the highest standards of animal care, safety, service and operational excellence. This senior leadership role oversees shelter operations, animal care and welfare, staffing, intake and adoptions, foster and rescue programs, customer care, facilities, and veterinary and medical operations. The ideal candidate brings meaningful animal-welfare management experience, strong people leadership and sound decision-making skills, along with a deep commitment to compassionate care and the mission of Animal Friends Humane Society.
Cat Care Coordinator
The Cat Care Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily management and progression of all cats and kittens within Animal Friends Humane Society’s care. This position plays a critical role in ensuring every cat receives exceptional medical care, behavioral support, enrichment, foster placement, rescue opportunities, and adoption services while maintaining efficient movement through the shelter system.
Customer Care Technician
The Customer Care Technician is the first point of contact for the public at Animal Friends Humane Society. This position plays a critical role in creating a welcoming environment, providing accurate information, and facilitating key shelter processes such as intakes, adoptions, and owner returns. The Customer Care Technician supports shelter operations through exceptional customer service, accurate documentation, and compassionate handling of both people and animals.
